The kicker was that the rate that was quoted was not at all what was billed (and we booked directly with them), and then they didn't even follow up with a receipt, we had to reach out and only after a week of phone calls did we get an itemized list of the bill. Not a huge deal, but 2 minutes of description would have saved us 15 minutes of trouble immediately after checking in and not being able to get into our room. At checkin, we barely even got a map of where our room was, and there definitely wasn't a description of the nuances of the room and property (there's two doors, the one is often jammed, if you deadbolt one, you'll have to walk all the way around to the other).
